The autumn leaves are falling like rain. Although my neighbors are all barbarians and you, you are a thousand miles away, there are always two cups at my table.
T’ang Dynasty poem
I know that Kano admired Ueshiba's aikido. Tomiki was active in the development of both martial arts. I wonder what (if any) commerce Mifume had with Ueshiba and aikido?
allegedly, Ueshiba would not allow Mifune to watch his classes because he thought that Mifune's understanding and skill in judo was so similar to ueshiba's aikido that Mifune might be able to"steal ueshiba's techniques" just by watching.

Mifume. The definition of Master, if there ever was one. One of my all-time heroes.
