I also started with it. The explanation given was that in that way it is easier for you to memorize the sequence from one side and this allows your teacher to correct your posture and stance on every single movement on the other. No directing chi, no power generation"Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15867403006412320812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13961468.post-51900080104900186292013-09-07T09:10:00.827-04:002013-09-07T09:10:00.827-04:00@Paul I wasn't aware that the Square form was ...@Paul I wasn't aware that the Square form was under appreciated in HK. I've noticed that with more proficiency in my movements, the temptation is always to let my mind wander. It might not wander far - often I find myself imagining how I would teach a move to a particular student, or how I can help a student overcome a particular problem - but it's far enough. I love the idea that each moment of practice is your singular chance to achieve that mind-body connection.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03341077005964035053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13961468.post-45195551503177423202013-09-05T11:54:16.152-04:002013-09-05T11:54:16.152-04:00Those are two terrific blogs. Those are two terrific blogs.Rick Matzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09699550034693340637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13961468.post-12289991374594887902013-09-05T11:47:02.603-04:002013-09-05T11:47:02.603-04:00Nice!Nice!Feliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09017194727231120284noreply@blogger.com
